Job summary

Affordable Family Care Services - Raleigh is seeking Personal Care Aides to assist seniors and individuals with disabilities at home, supporting daily living, hygiene, and routine health monitoring in Chapel Hill area.

Responsibilities include helping with personal care, basic health checks, light housekeeping, transportation, and coordinating with caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members to track conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Your vehicle must be insured.
• You must have a valid driver’s license.
• You will need a current TB test.
• You must pass a Background & Drug check and be E-Verify employable.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and other daily tasks.
• Perform basic health care services for clients, including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication.
• Help with general light housekeeping, including cooking meals.
• Make transportation arrangements or provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Observe and report on each client’s condition.
• Stay up-to-date with home health aide training, policies and procedures.
