Job summary

Highland Hills Retirement Village is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team to provide high-quality care and support to residents, helping with daily living activities while ensuring dignity, comfort, and a warm, supportive environment.

As a PCA, you will assist with ADLs, meals, hydration, and mobility, monitor health changes, and follow care plans while collaborating with nurses and staff to maintain safety and comfort for all residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• PCA/CNA certification or relevant caregiving experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a senior living, assisted living, or healthcare setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting their overall well-being.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health, behavior, or needs to nursing staff.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Follow care plans and work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other staff.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and organizing residents' living spaces.
