Job summary

Guardian Angel Senior Services seeks Personal Care Assistants to help elderly and disabled individuals live safely and comfortably at home across Massachusetts, including Great Barrington. Start at $18/hour with opportunities for growth and meaningful, compassionate work.

Qualifications

Own vehicle and a valid driver's license.
Certifications (if any) are provided by the employer.
Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
Compassionate, respectful and dependable attitude.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Commitment to following health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care (hygiene, dressing, meals)
Provide companionship and emotional support
Help with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean home
Run errands such as grocery shopping
Prepare meals with client involvement when possible
Provide medication reminders
Perform routine cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, etc.)
Monitor and report changes in client condition
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies
