Job summary

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Personal Care Aide to join VibraLife Rehabilitation Center in Mechanicsburg, PA. You will support residents with daily living activities, meals, and mobility, ensuring health, safety and dignity.

Full-time day shift, 8-hour schedule from 7am to 3pm, with caring, compassionate team and opportunities for professional growth within a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience as a Nurse Aide or equivalent in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid Nursing Assistant certification preferred; CPR/First Aid training preferred.

VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community comprised of a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living unit. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Vibralife is a beautiful, one-story, state-of-the-art facility that includes the Vibra Rehabilitation Center and Vibra Senior Living. Expertly designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post injury or illness, VibraLife delivers a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents.

Responsibilities

The PCA is responsible for the implementation of resident services by assisting with activities of daily living, activity programs, housekeeping services and dining services. The provision of these services must be performed to ensure the health, welfare, safety and independence of our residents is of primary concern.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other equivalent experience in lieu of education will be considered.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment preferred.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
• Phlebotomy training and ECG training preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
