Salary: $18.00 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Personal Care Assistant to provide support services to assist clients with personal, physical mobility, and therapeutic care needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide services to persons needing help with daily activities
• Perform health care tasks, personal hygiene services, and related support to maintain client health
• Assist with transfers and ambulation
• Perform incidental household services as part of the personal care plan
• Offer companionship through reading, listening, and talking with clients
• Support clients in developing independent skills via self-care activities
• Report changes in client status as per care plan
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• State licensure or certification as required
• One (1) year relevant experience preferred
• Current BLS card
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Knowledge of child growth and development
• Ability to coordinate services across various agencies and resources
• Strong communication skills; proficiency in English may be required
• Computer proficiency
• Must be at least 18 years old
