Work Location: Beaverdam, VA, 23015

Our Caregivers are responsible for providing non-medical home care support services that provide for the comfort, safety, and general supervision our clients as well as the activities of daily living.

This particular position is for a PCA willing to travel to the Beaverdam (zip 23015) where Hanover/Caroline/Spotsylvania Counties meet. The Shift is 10a – 6p Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Guaranteed 24 Hours a Week Minimum.

Duties and Responsibilities Required:

  • Performs all duties outlined in the Plan of Care,
  • Demonstrates competency in all areas of training for personal care attendant,
  • Assists with the Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) or the Instrumental Activities of
  • Daily Living (IADLs) based upon the Plan of Care,
  • Companion, Homemaker and Meal preparation services
  • Recording and reporting to the Supervising RN any changes regarding the client's condition, behavior or appearance
  • Documenting the services delivered daily on the Daily Activity Log
  • Complete and submit paperwork on time
  • Complete in-service training on time.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Ability to facilitate progressive change while maintaining attention to detail and
  • customer service is necessary for accurately performing tasks and accepting frequent interruptions under tight deadlines,
  • Accommodate reasonable requests of clients
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with clients, clients’ family members and office staff
  • Ability to work independently, arrive at the client’s residence on time and prepared for work
