Scripps Health's Trauma Observation PCA team at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego (Hillcrest) is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant to join our fast-paced clinical care team. This is a Full-Time role with a 12-hour NIGHT shift, scheduled across variable days including holidays and weekends.

You will provide patient-centered support alongside clinicians, assist with activities of daily living, data collection, and unit logistics to ensure safe, organized patient care and smooth operations

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and ensures the patient has a safe, organized environment.
• Assists with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.
• Supports the unit with a variety of patient logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties.

Job description

This is a Full-Time (72 hours per pay period), with a 12-hour NIGHT shift, on variable days of the week including holidays and weekends.

Located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego (Hillcrest).
