Job summary

Affordable Family Care Services - Raleigh is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our growing team. The right candidate will provide personal care and support to elderly clients, maintain a friendly demeanor, and follow care plans with integrity.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and escorting clients to appointments while maintaining safety and dignity. A valid CNA certification and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Vehicle must be insured.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Current TB test is required.
• CNA certificate is required.
• Background and drug check and E-Verify employable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for clients and support basic needs.
• Assist with mobility and accompany to appointments or activities.
• Plan and prepare meals and help with daily living tasks.
• Perform light housekeeping and shopping assistance as needed.
• Report incidents and act promptly in emergencies.
• Offer daily living activities and ensure safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Your vehicle must be insured.
