Job summary

Job Summary

24 hour day/evening position every other weekend, every other holiday. Three 8 hour shifts.Under the direction of a registered/licensed nurse (RN), is a member of the interdisciplinary health care team assists in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Ability to multitask and handle stress crisis situations effectively.- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology required.- Demonstrated typing skills and computer experience required.- Good interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills required.- Ability to lift and transport patients using the appropriate physical technique in a safe manner for the patient and self according to Safe Patient Handling Guidelines.
