Job summary

About U Inc in Richfield, MN is seeking a compassionate PCA/Homemaker to provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and meal preparation with respect and dignity.

We offer flexible hours (15-40 per week), competitive pay, and opportunities for growth. Candidates must pass a MN DHS background check and be able to lift and transfer clients as needed. Training via online orientation is available.

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to pass a MN Dept of Human Services background check
• Have not been excluded from participating in Federal or State Healthcare Programs
• Ability to complete Orientation online or a combination of in-person and online
• An open mind and a caring demeanor
• Complete required PCA certification through the Department of Human Services
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop down to clean and to care for clients
• Must be able to exert up to 40 pounds of force to move objects
