Job summary

About U Inc is seeking a compassionate PCA/Homemaker in Richfield, Minnesota. The role involves direct care, daily living assistance, meal prep, and light housekeeping for individuals with disabilities. You will log hours using an Electronic Verification Visit App and work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifying candidates will complete a MN DHS PCA certification and pass a background check. Both independent and team-based work are supported in a caring, respectful environment.

Qualifications

Do you have the heart to serve? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PCA/Homemaker to join our team. As a PCA/Homemaker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a respectful and compassionate manner
• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as transferring, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist individuals with tasks including laundry, cleaning around the house, and preparing meals
• Ability to use the Electronic Verification Visit App to log hours and services

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed

• Have not been excluded from participating in Federal or State Healthcare Programs
• Ability to complete Orientation online or a combination of in-person and online

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop down to clean and to care for clients
• Must be able to exert up to 40 pounds of force to move objects
