New Beginnings Home Care Inc. in Auburn, NY is urgently seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) / Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our Cayuga County team. The role involves basic housekeeping, personal hygiene assistance, and providing companionship to clients in the Cayuga County area.

Hours are from 3 PM to 8 PM with potential for growth. A valid PCA/HHA/CNA certification, reliable transportation, and a caring, patient approach are essential to support our clients and collaborate with a dedicated

Qualifications

• Active PCA, HHA, CNA Certification required.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Available for irregular shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in medication administration and client assistance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards and policies.
• Follow the established care plan by the supervising nurse.
• Provide personal care and assist with non-medical food preparation.
• Report significant client changes to the supervising nurse.
• Create a pleasant environment for staff and clients.
• Submit necessary documentation and reports.
• Assist with medical appointments and relay information to supervisors.
• Protect client confidentiality.
• Attend ongoing training sessions.
• Address concerns with supervisors and colleagues.
• Respect and enforce Client/Patient Bill of Rights.
• Perform other assigned duties.

As a PCA/HHA, you will be responsible for basic housekeeping, personal hygiene assistance, and offering companionship to clients in the Cayuga County area.

Driver preferred. Hours are 3P - 8P with room for the case to grow. Just a few minutes outside the city of Auburn.

Duties/Responsibilities:
