Job summary

Redstone is seeking a PCA: Personal Care Assistant in Murrysville Personal Care. This is a full-time role with a shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with days varying and every other weekend.

You will provide compassionate care to residents, ensuring safety and comfort during daily activities. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, oral care, toileting, nutrition and hydration, and transporting residents to activities and appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide compassionate resident care.

What You'll Do

As a PCA, you will:

• Provide compassionate care to residents in nursing and personal care/assisted living, ensuring their safety and comfort during daily activities.
• Conduct regular rounds to check on each resident at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Assist residents with bathing/showering, dressing, oral care, toileting, nutrition, and hydration according to individualized care plans.
• Transport residents to activities, dining, beauty shop appointments, and chapel services, as recommended by the Rehab Department.
