PCA Dietary Assistant

Kalamazoo, MI

Full-Time, Monday - Friday

Make a daily difference in the lives of seniors while supporting a dedicated dietitian team!

We’re looking for a PCA Dietary Assistant who’s passionate about nutrition, teamwork, and caring for older adults in a warm, community-centered environment.

What You’ll Do

As a key part of our interdisciplinary care team, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our participants healthy and nourished.

• Manage food inventory, ordering, and storage using safety-first methods
• Assist with meal prep, service, and satisfaction surveys
• Distribute meals, supplements, and take-home nutrition packages
• Monitor food safety, temperatures, and expiration dates
• Support vendors and coordinate with Meals on Wheels
• Ensure documentation and billing is accurate in our EMR system
• Provide hands-on assistance to participants when needed
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• PCA or CNA preferred (or willingness to train)
• At least 1 year of experience with elderly or long-term care populations
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stay on your feet, and multitask
• Basic computer skills
• A kind heart and positive attitude!
  
  
  

Requirements

• Reliable transportation & valid Michigan driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be fully vaccinated (or willing to be) for common communicable diseases
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends if needed
