The position requires reliable transportation, ability to follow care plans, and strong communication. Prior related experience is preferred; background checks and state compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as PCA, DCW, HHA, CNA, or caregiver preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Lehigh Valley area.
• Must pass background check and meet state compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in a home care setting.
• Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow individualized care plans.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
