Job summary

North Point Senior Homecare is seeking compassionate PCAs, CNAs, NAs, and HHAs to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. You will provide personalized, in-home care to help seniors live independently and safely in their own homes.

We value dependable, empathetic caregivers who can assist with ADLs, companionship, mobility, and light housekeeping while maintaining the dignity and comfort of our clients.

Qualifications

• Current certification or experience as a PCA, CNA, NA, or HHA preferred.
• Prior experience in home care or elder care is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Strong communication and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Physically able to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting clients.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to senior clients in their homes.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Support safe mobility and transfers, including assistance with walking and positioning.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed care plans.
• Transport or accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed.
