Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of seniors and individuals who need care? We are looking for compassionate and dedicated CNAs/PCAs to join our growing team to help staff a few cases at a Memory Care Facility in Virginia Beach. The tasks will consist of 1 on 1 care for Dementia/Alzheimers Clients who need some extra care. If you have a caring heart, a strong work ethic, and enjoy helping others, we would love to meet you!
Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, etc.).
Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques.
Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to the supervisor/ staff on the floor
Support clients with dementia by using patience, compassion, and specialized care techniques and engage in a meaningful activity with them during the shift.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
Active CNA license or PCA experience/certification.
Must pass a background check.
Must have completed dementia-specific training. IF not will train.
CPR/First Aid certification .
Ability to lift, move, or assist clients as needed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in a nursing home is a plus but not required.
