Job summary

SKY HEART HOME CARE SERVICES in New Bern, NC, is urgently seeking certified PCA/CNAs to join our compassionate care team. This role focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities, monitoring health status, and providing companionship in a home setting.

We offer 401(k), parental leave, and training & development opportunities. Flexible hours include evenings; weekend/holiday shifts may be required. Must have NC PCA/CNA license and pass screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified PCA/CNA with a valid license in North Carolina.
• Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a caring demeanor.
• Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.

• Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Administer medication and assist with mobility as needed.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate client records.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to meet clients' individual needs.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills.
