Responsibilities

• Caregivers help older people with meals, groceries, laundry and household tasks, medications, bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Assisting with personal grooming: bathing, showering, dressing, shampooing, shaving, toileting, skin care, denture care
• Transferring customers from bed to chair/wheelchair or chair to bed
• Passive ROM exercises and assisting with active ROM movements
• Operating assistive devices like wheelchairs, walkers, lifts, beds
• Changing and laundering bed linens
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
• General housekeeping: sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, trash
• Maintain orderliness of client’s environment
• Shopping or errands as needed
• Observes and documents client’s status on each visit
• Documents care given and any problems noted

Duties and Responsibilities

• Caregivers help older people with meal preparation, grocery shopping, laundry and household tasks, self-administered medications, and bathing, grooming and dressing. Specific duties may include:


• Assisting customer with personal grooming, including but not limited to bathing, showering, dressing, shampooing and drying/styling hair, shaving, toileting, skin care, tooth brushing and/or denture care


• Transferring customer from bed to chair/wheelchair or from chair to bed


• Conducting passive range of motion exercises and assisting in the exercise of joints with active range of motion exercises


• Operating assistive devices and equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, lifts, mechanical beds, and assisting in the use of these devices


• Changing and laundering bed linens


• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding


• Performing general housekeeping duties including but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, washing dishes and taking out trash


• Straightening and maintaining orderliness of client’s immediate environment


• Shopping and/or running errands as needed


• Observes and documents client’s status on each visit


• Documents care given and any problems noted

Applicants must satisfy other criteria, such as background checks, employment verification, etc., before becoming qualified candidates for employment.

Pay: $11.00-$15.00 Per Hour
