Job summary

Active Day is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate home care to clients in South Carolina. Duties include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring client conditions, and ensuring safety in the home environment.

CNAs will perform tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation assistance. A valid CNA license, HS diploma, and reliable transportation are required, with a focus on patient dignity and well-being.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid CNA license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Driver's license with active insurance and registration is required.
• Physical ability to push, pull, bend, squat, lift at least 50 pounds.
• Background check and motor vehicle report may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, caring companionship to clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Monitor and document client conditions and safety.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks.
• Escort clients to appointments when required.
• Run errands and shop for groceries or personal items as needed.

Job description

Our Certified Nursing Assistants / CNAs have many responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Friendly, caring companionship!


• Helping your client with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming


• Providing support in many areas including:


• Monitoring and documenting your client’s condition, ensuring your client’s safety at all times.


• Providing housekeeping and laundry services


• Preparing and serving meals and snacks


• Escorting to/from appointments as needed


• Running errands as needed / Shopping for food, personal items, etc.

Our Certified Nursing Assistants / CNAs will have the following qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent.


• Valid CNA License


• Must be at least 21 yrs of age


• Valid Driver's License as well as proof of active insurance and registration for CNAs responsible for running errands for our clients.


• Reliable transportation so that you are able to get to work on time as well as run errands for our clients when needed.


• This is a physical job, after all we are ACTIVE Home Care! As a result you will need to be able to: Push, pull, bend, squat, turn, pivot, transfer and lift at least 50 pounds


• Successful results of background check, motor vehicle report, drug testing and any other state-specific requirements
