Job summary

Colonial Group in Barnwell, SC is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate in-home care to clients, assisting with daily activities and monitoring health.

Requirements include HS Diploma or equivalent, valid CNA license, minimum 21 years old, valid driver’s license with active insurance, reliable transportation, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; background checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CNA license required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of active insurance and registration for CNAs who run errands.
• Reliable transportation to arrive at work and run client errands as needed.
• Physical job: ability to push, pull, bend, squat, turn, pivot, transfer and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Background check and motor vehicle report may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly companionship to clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Monitor and document client condition and safety.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services.

Job description

Our Certified Nursing Assistants / CNAs have many responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Friendly, caring companionship!
• Helping your client with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming
• Providing support in many areas including:
• Monitoring and documenting your client's condition, ensuring your client’s safety at all times.
• Providing housekeeping and laundry services
• Preparing and serving meals and snacks
• Escorting to/from appointments as needed
• Running errands as needed / Shopping for food, personal items, etc.

Our Certified Nursing Assistants / CNAs will have the following qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CNA License
• Must be at least 21 yrs of age
• Valid Driver's License as well as proof of active insurance and registration for CNAs responsible for running errands for our clients.
• Reliable transportation so that you are able to get to work on time as well as run errands for our clients when needed.
• This is a physical job, after all we are ACTIVE Home Care! As a result you will need to be able to: Push, pull, bend, squat, turn, pivot, transfer and lift at least 50 pounds
• Successful results of background check, motor vehicle report, drug testing and any other state-specific requirements
