Job summary

St. Paul’s Senior Services in San Diego seeks a dedicated CNA assistant to support residents' daily care across AM/PM shifts. This full-time role involves assisting with meals, hygiene, mobility, and medication assistance under supervision.

Candidates should be able to read and speak English, have First Aid/ CPR, and complete dementia training. High school diploma and prior elderly-care experience preferred. Familiarity with EMR systems is expected.

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certification preferred, but not required.
• Current First Aid and CPR cards from the American Heart Association.
• Successful completion of required Dementia Training.
• Must be able to be tactful and courteous at all times with both Residents and employees.
• Must be able to respond to Resident’s needs and expectations.
• Able to read, write, understand, and speak the English language.
• Must be computer literate sufficient to perform all tasks required of the EMR System.

• AM: 6:00AM - 2:30PM
• PM: 2:00PM - 10:30PM

Adheres to all Federal, State, and local regulations and corporate and facility Policies and Procedures. Assists staff in providing Resident care, which may include meal service, light housekeeping, toileting, personal hygiene and medication assistance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current California CNA certification preferred, but not required.
• Current First Aid and CPR cards from the American Heart Association.
• Successful completion of required Dementia Training.
