• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean home environment
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
• Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Personal Care Aide, Home Health Aide, or in a similar caregiving role preferred
• Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care
• Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Newport News, VA area
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
• Must pass a background check and meet state requirements for home care aides in Virginia
