Job summary

Southern Hearts Homecare of Georgia inc in Byron, GA is seeking Personal Care Assistants to support clients with daily living activities. You’ll assist with bathing, grooming, meal prep, mobility, and companionship, following each client’s plan of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Current TB test on file.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals according to clients’ needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist clients with shopping and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and transfers when required.
• Follow each client’s plan of care and assigned task sheet.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition or behavior.
• Document services accurately and on time.
• Respond quickly and responsibly during emergencies.
• Protect clients’ privacy, dignity, and confidential information.
• Perform other authorized personal care duties as assigned.
