Job summary

Warm Hearth at Home is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our team in Blacksburg, VA area. We provide high-quality, person-centered care to help older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safe and comfortable in their homes.

Shifts include PRN, part-time, and full-time; training opportunities are available. We offer flexible schedules, a supportive team environment, and local assignments with meaningful, hands-on patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; training opportunities may be available.
• Current PCA, CNA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Must be dependable, compassionate, and professional.
• Ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility and transfers safely.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
