Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a PC Support Specialist II to deliver Tier 2 desktop support across corporate offices and field locations in Goodlettsville, TN. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripherals while supporting device lifecycle refreshes and enterprise IT initiatives.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, solid troubleshooting skills, and experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS, and Android environments. This contract role runs for 3 months with a potential extension.

Job description

One of our clients is seeking a PC Support Specialist II to provide Tier 2 technical support for desktop systems, software, and peripherals across corporate offices, distribution centers, and field locations. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal functionality and performance of end-user devices while supporting hardware lifecycle refresh projects and enterprise IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused mindset, and experience supporting a wide range of endpoint technologies. The position works closely with other IT teams to resolve issues, support technology deployments, and maintain a high level of service for end users.

This role will be a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Technical Qualifications:

Associate degree in Computer Science preferred.

Network+, ITIL, A+, or Microsoft Fundamentals certifications preferred.

Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS, and Android environments.

Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, VPN, and Active Directory concepts.

Experience supporting remote users and distributed teams.

This is a Contract position based out of Goodlettsville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
