Job summary

Novolex in Downingtown, PA is seeking an Off Bearer for the 2nd shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm). Starting pay is $22.17/hour, paid weekly, with a $0.75/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

The role involves handling blanks, inspecting for defects, stacking pallets, wrapping loads, and moving pallets to staging areas. Responsibilities include assisting with press make-ready, machine maintenance, and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
• Ability to read and understand safety protocols and equipment manuals in English.

Responsibilities

• Picks up the required lanes of cut and printed blanks from the press delivery table
• Jog blanks and inspects for cutting or printing defects and notifies operator when defects are present
• Stack blanks on a pallet to the required height
• Wraps full pallet with stretch wrap and places completed load tag on the pallet
• Moves full pallets of blanks with manual pallet jack or electric pallet jack to material handling staging area
• Keeps work area clean
• Assists with Make Ready on the press such as pulling cylinders, washing pumps, and changing gears
• Assist with Machine maintenance and cleaning
• Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervision such as strapping loads, emptying bins or stack4
