About the PC Program: The PC Program is an exciting new and innovative initiative created by Kyla Wright LPO Solutions with the specific aim of empowering youth. This program focuses on training, mentorship, career development and more. It aims to equip our youths with valuable skills, create pathways to employment within several sectors, test innovative approaches, and expand our reach within the legal services market. We are seeking visionary leaders, especially those with direct experience in youth development and education, to guide its development and accelerate its growth, making a tangible difference in the lives of our youth.

Position Summary: Kyla Wright LPO Solutions is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our PC Program Board of Directors. This unique, commission-based role offers an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their network and strategic acumen to directly impact the success and expansion of a groundbreaking legal technology initiative. The Director will provide crucial oversight, strategic guidance, and actively contribute to client acquisition, driving revenue growth for the PC Program while supporting its social impact goals, particularly those focused on youth empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Oversight & Guidance:

  • Actively participate in the strategic planning and direction of the PC Program, contributing to its vision, goals, and operational strategies.
  • Provide expert advice and oversight on the PC Program's progress, budget, and key performance indicators, including its youth empowerment objectives.
  • Offer constructive feedback on operations, identify potential challenges, and propose solutions to optimize program effectiveness.

Client Acquisition & Revenue Generation:

  • Proactively identify, cultivate, and refer new clients who can benefit from the PC Program's services.
  • Leverage personal and professional networks to facilitate introductions and secure new business opportunities for our PC webinars and memberships.
  • Collaborate with the Organization's team to ensure referred clients are onboarded efficiently and their needs are met.
  • Accurately track and document all client referrals to ensure proper commission calculation.
  • Attend and actively engage in all scheduled PC Program Board meetings (virtual or in-person), prepared with insights and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of the PC Program's overall success and assist in formulating recommendations for its future.
  • Assist in identifying and recruiting other qualified individuals to potentially serve as additional directors for the PC Program Board, as needed.

Compliance & Ethics:

  • Ensure the PC Program operates in adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and the Organization's internal policies and ethical standards.
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest and recuse from discussions or votes where such conflicts exist.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a legal professional (attorney, paralegal, legal secretary etc.)
  • Must have experience in immigration work
  • Must have a large network of business leaders or entrepreneurs
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities, with a strong network of potential clients relevant to the PC program.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative board environment.
  • A strong passion for social impact and youth empowerment, particularly within the American context and through an educational lens.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to the ethical conduct of business.
  • Proficiency with virtual communication tools (e.g., video conferencing).

Compensation:

This is a commission-based role. The Director will receive a five percent (5%) commission on all revenue generated from webinars, services and membership fees directly attributed to clients personally referred by the Director. Detailed tracking and reporting will be in place to ensure transparency. Reimbursement for pre-approved, reasonable business expenses will also be provided.
