Relativity Space is hiring a Powder Bed Fusion Technician in Long Beach, CA. You will operate and monitor PBF machines, prepare build platforms, load metal powder, and keep equipment in top condition. This role emphasizes safety, precision, and cross-functional collaboration with engineers and leadership.

The position runs on a first shift, Monday–Friday, with a 50-hour weekly schedule and guaranteed overtime. Prior experience with additive manufacturing tools and metal powders is a plus.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years experience in Manufacturing, Fabrication or Assembly environment.
• Proficient in hand, power, and pneumatic tools such as drills, calipers, dimensional metrology tools, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality parts.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and maintain accurate records.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machines and tools.

About the Team:

The Powder Bed Fusion manufacturing team develops, creates, and operates the most advanced additive manufacturing technologies in the world. This best-in-class team makes sure that the infrastructure, materials, tools, and equipment are in place for us to rapidly iterate and print. The Powder-Based manufacturing team was crucial to manufacturing Aeon-1 for first launch and now are developing and demonstrating groundbreaking technologies, design, and approaches for Aeon-R!

This is a first-shift position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT. The role is structured around a 50-hour workweek, including 10 guaranteed overtime hours each week.

About You:

• 2 Year Associate Science in Advanced Manufacturing Technology (or equivalent)
• Familiarity with additive manufacturing or metal powder is a plus
• Experienced with MES systems like Manufacturo and Jira

Hiring Range:

$23.38 — $35.06 USD
