The Opportunity

We are supporting a global industrial organisation preparing for a large-scale international payroll and Time & Attendance transformation programme.

We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Time & Attendance Project Manager to lead the US country workstream, with potential responsibility for Canada.

The successful consultant will take ownership of country-level delivery, coordinating local payroll, HR, IT, finance teams and external implementation partners to ensure a successful deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the US payroll and Time & Attendance implementation workstream.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate stakeholders across HR, payroll, finance, IT and external vendors.
• Oversee payroll data migration, system integrations, testing and validation.
• Coordinate parallel-payroll runs and reconciliation activities.
• Manage country-level cutover, go-live readiness and hypercare.
• Maintain project governance, reporting and RAID logs.

Required Experience

• Proven experience managing large-scale US payroll implementation or transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of payroll and Time & Attendance systems and processes.
• Experience delivering projects involving payroll data migration, integrations, testing and cutover.
• Strong stakeholder management and project governance capabilities.
• Experience working within international or multi-country programmes.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and external implementation partners.
• Based in the USA or Canada, with availability to support US working hours.
• Experience implementing UKG, ADP, Paylocity, Paychex or Paycor.
• Canadian payroll transformation experience.
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central integration experience.
• Experience delivering multi-entity payroll implementations.
• Manufacturing or industrial-sector experience.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.
