Job summary

Cart.com is seeking a meticulous Tax & Payroll Specialist to support the People team’s payroll operations. You will drive automation, standardization, and centralization of HR processes and systems to deliver accurate, timely payroll across the organization.

In this fast‑paced role you’ll handle data collection, tax filings, reporting, and employee inquiries, collaborating with Accounting and HR to ensure compliance and a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Workday and ADP Smart Compliance.
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and compliance.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute payroll operations in alignment with the roadmap.
• Respond to employee questions and ensure accurate payroll data.
• Update payroll records and generate reports.
• Maintain HR records confidentiality.
• Support onboarding/offboarding in payroll context.
