Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Payroll Data Entry Clerk for a 3-month contract to support a large healthcare system with 33,000+ employees. You will ensure payroll data is accurate and entered timely, handle timekeeping support, and assist with payroll audits.

The role requires payroll knowledge, strong data entry and customer service skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Experience with UKG and a finance/accounting degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with high volume data entry accuracy.
• Basic Payroll knowledge, understanding gross-to-net, deductions, taxes.
• Ability to manually calculate a paycheck from gross to net.
• Ability to validate timecards and identify discrepancies within pay.
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
• Any Payroll certifications.
• Experience with UKG.
• Finance/Accounting degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Enter and audit payroll data to ensure accuracy before processing.
• Respond to timekeeping inquiries via phone and email.
• Support payroll data entry and timecard validation.
• Perform quality control checks and resolve discrepancies.

This role will be supporting a large healthcare system with 33,000+ internal employees with ensuring payroll data is accurate, complete, and entered timely before payroll processing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll knowledge and strong data entry and customer service skills who is looking to grow within payroll operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Day to day functions may include employee data maintenance over the phone and email, timekeeping support, payroll data entry, and auditing/quality control.
