Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to lead the payroll function for our organization. You will supervise payroll specialists, ensure accurate processing, and maintain compliance with policies and regulations across locations.

The role requires strong Workday expertise, advanced Excel skills, and proven leadership to mentor staff and drive process improvements. This on-site position is based in Raleigh, NC and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience required.
• Seven (7) years of payroll experience are required.
• Must be proficient in Workday, Workday Report Writing, and Microsoft Excel.
• Supervisory or team experience preferred.
• Must have strong ability to direct and motivate staff.
• Must have communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Interprets company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.
• Ensures timely and accurate processing of payroll for all locations and employees.
• Supervises work of payroll specialists and provides coverage during absences.
• Oversees payroll-related 401(k) activities, ensuring accurate deductions, remittances, and reporting.
• Provides back-up coverage in the absence of the department manager.
• Oversees special projects as directed by the department manager.
• Assumes responsibility for the compilation and preparation of payroll-related data, wires, pay cards, and transmittals including wage payments, taxes, garnishments, 401(k), HSA, etc.
• Administers Workday time tracking and absence management and DCS/ZK technology, including maintenance of time entry codes, accruals, integrations, time clocks, and manager assistance and training.
