Job summary

Opry Entertainment Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist to accurately process bi-weekly payrolls for multiple company codes in an in-office role in Nashville, TN. You will balance timesheets, manage time and attendance systems, and resolve payroll issues with leadership input.

The position supports reporting and projects within the Payroll Services team. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of HR/payroll experience, strong data entry and math skills, familiarity with labor laws, and may hold CPP

Qualifications

4+ years HR/Payroll or similar experience required.
Familiarity with labor laws and tax reporting is a plus.
CPP certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare and process bi-weekly payrolls for multiple company codes.
Balance timesheets and manual payroll transactions to payroll system reports and resolve issues.
Perform daily payroll department operations in compliance with policies/procedures.
Manage workflow to ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
Oversee day-to-day operations of time and attendance/scheduling systems.
Research payroll questions and communicate with employees and leaders to resolve issues.
Review time and attendance data for reasonableness with managers to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and distribute payroll, scheduling, and time attendance reports.
Assist Payroll Services team with system testing, maintenance, and payroll-related projects.
Perform other duties as required.
