The role involves timekeeping, audits for compliance, tip and PTO processing, and supervising payroll staff under the Payroll Manager, while ensuring confidentiality and excellent guest service values.
The Payroll Specialist II position is responsible for accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Directs the work of others in the department at the discretion of accounting management.

Three years related experience and/or training; bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. Must have intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must have large payroll system experience such as UKG Pro.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must read, write and speak the English language fluently.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
