Job summary

American Heritage Schools- Broward Campus is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Broward County, FL to manage all payroll activities using ADP. The role requires maintenance of payroll records, handling bonuses, deductions, and compliance with federal/state laws.

It is an on-site position reporting to the HR Executive Director, with benefits and annual bonuses. The ideal candidate has at least two years of payroll experience, strong confidentiality, and solid knowledge of payroll regulations.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• At least two years of related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of the ADP payroll system.
• Knowledge of Federal and State payroll requirements.
• Confidentiality and discretion of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll input through ADP for all Companies.
• Process annual bonuses timely and accurately.
• Update and maintain payroll data in ADP, review timesheets and deductions.
• Be primary contact with employees for time, attendance, payroll issues.
• Track hours with Supervisors and update records on status changes.
• Audit timekeeping records and ensure standards.
• Coordinate with department heads for accurate timekeeping.
• Prepare contracts for Teachers and Teacher Assistants for the school year.
• Prepare stipend contracts for the school year.
• Prepare and submit 401K reports and funds bi-weekly; yearly reports as needed.
• Process wage garnishments and court-ordered withholdings.
• Troubleshoot ADP system issues with time reporting.
• Process year-end W-2, ACA reporting alignment.
