Waukegan Community Unit School District No. 60 is seeking a payroll-focused professional to support the finance team. The role involves processing payroll for district staff, verifying records, and entering data accurately in our systems.
You will collaborate with administrators, maintain sick leave and vacation records, and ensure timely payments while protecting confidentiality. Prior payroll experience and Excel proficiency are essential.
Waukegan Community Unit School District No. 60 serves nearly 13,000 students in preschool throughgrade 12 and is located halfway between Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the shores ofLake Michigan. The District has one early learning center, 15 elementary schools, five middle schools and ahigh school program divided between two 9– 12thgrade campuses. The District encompasses portions ofWaukegan, Beach Park and Park City.

Directly responsible to the Director of Finance. Indirectly responsible to the Associate Superintendent for Business Services.
