Addison Group is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a large multi-state population. This contract role is hybrid with a 30-hour work week and one in-office day each week, supporting payroll for roughly 900 employees across several states.

The ideal candidate will have full-cycle payroll experience in Paylocity, strong multi-state processing skills, and excellent communication.

• Experience supporting payroll in CA, TX, FL, ZTN, FL.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll for approximately 900 employees across multiple states.
• Review, validate, and audit payroll data, timesheets, and related reports.
• Ensure payroll accuracy for both hourly and salaried employees.
• Generate payroll reports and provide data to third-party payroll providers as needed.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 support.
• Provide additional accounting support when needed, including accounts payable assistance.
