Troon Headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our corporate team. The ideal candidate will manage high-volume payroll processes, use UKG Pro and Workforce Dimensions, and collaborate with payroll, HR, and management to ensure accurate and timely pay.

This role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and compliance in a dynamic hospitality setting. Minimum 3-5 years of payroll experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills are required; bilingual

Responsibilities

• Utilizes payroll and time and attendance systems to process payroll and resolve issues for employees and managers.
• Ensures garnishments are submitted to UKG Pro timely and review all entered garnishments and calculations for accuracy.
• Sets up and processes various earnings and deductions requests/spreadsheets accurately and timely.
• Troubleshoots data related issues in both UKG Pro and Workforce Dimensions.
• Generates manual checks in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensures all payroll checks are distributed timely to the field.
• Researches and resolves payroll related inquiries from employees and management.
• Fully participates and ensures success of various projects as assigned.
• Demonstrates strong focus on teamwork and initiatives as well as manages independent workload.

Key Responsibilities :

• Utilizes the payroll and time and attendance systems to answer questions, process payroll, review/update information and resolve issues for employees and managers.
• Ensures garnishments are submitted to UKG Pro timely and review all entered garnishments and calculations for accuracy.
• Sets up and processes various earnings and deductions requests/spreadsheets accurately and timely.

• Ensures all payroll checks are distributed timely to the field.
• Researches and resolves payroll related inquiries from employees and management.

• High school diploma or general education degree.
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in high volume payroll.

• Must possess strong customer service skills.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required.
• UKG experience is a plus.
