Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure payroll is processed according to company policy and to resolve any payroll questions. This role supports branches and keeps data accurate and compliant.

Key duties include processing payroll, reviewing branch timecards for accuracy, entering data into the payroll system promptly, and assisting branches with payroll reporting requirements. The position is office-based in California and offers full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and guidelines.
• Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Summary

• The Payroll Specialist ensures payroll is processed according to Company policy and any problems or questions relating to payroll are resolved or answered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process payroll in accordance with company policies
• Review and screen branch timecard entries for accuracy
• Enter data into the payroll system accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist branches with various payroll reporting requirements

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant payroll experience
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and guidelines
• Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in fast fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook email)
• Ability to work with confidential information
• A team player and supportive business partner attitude

Physical Demands/Requirements:

• Constant operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, photocopier, and computer printer
• Position is sedentary; must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of the time
• Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur.

Work Environment:

• This role works in an indoor office work environment.

Compensation Pay Range:

26.00 to 28.00/hr.
