Aston Carter is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Plano, TX, to process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately while coordinating with internal partners to ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations. The role is primarily onsite Monday through Thursday with the option to work remotely on Fridays, and offers exposure to basic accounting tasks using Excel and ADP.

You will enter and verify payroll data, support payroll tax activities, reconcile cycles, and maintain confidential records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with payroll tax filings is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving payroll issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and responding to inquiries.

Work Environment

This role follows a hybrid schedule, with work performed onsite from Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays. The Payroll Specialist primarily works in an office environment using ADP payroll software, Microsoft Excel, and other standard business applications. The position involves frequent collaboration with accounting and other internal teams, as well as focused individual work to meet payroll deadlines. The work is detail-oriented and deadline-driven, requiring consistent accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX 75024.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.65/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
