SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
NYC Health + Hospitals Payroll Practitioner carries out responsibility for payroll-related functions.
General tasks and responsibilities will include the below:
1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline; and two (2) years of full-time supervisory experience of a payroll and timekeeping operation; or,
2. High school diploma or its educational equivalent, approved by a State’s Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization; and four (4) years of full-time experience in accounting, payroll and/or timekeeping.
