Job summary

Pasona N A, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead payroll-related client projects. You will handle multi-state payroll, oversee implementations, and supervise the project team with a focus on accuracy and speed.

The role requires experience in payroll operations, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a hybrid, full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-charge payroll experience or equivalent.
• Experience processing payroll for multiple companies.
• Experience in project management and team management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• Experience with payroll system implementations (e.g., ADP or similar).
• Exposure to AI technologies and Power Platform (preferred).
• Experience executing cross-departmental projects (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects as project leader, review procedures, monitor profitability, manage client expectations, renew agreements, and train team members.
• Process multi-state payrolls for multiple clients.
• Implement new payroll projects, including system conversions for clients.
• Research regulations and ensure payroll compliance with federal/state/county requirements.
• Improve existing payroll procedures for assigned projects.
• Communicate with clients, sales, and project teams to meet expectations.
• Ensure quality of customer service and collaboration with IT/marketing for new services.
• Ensure compliance with legal/regulatory requirements to safeguard operations.
