Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Payroll Operations Manager to lead biweekly and semi-monthly payroll processing, oversee payroll transmissions, and partner with Tax Accounting, Human Resources, auditors, and external providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will mentor payroll staff, drive process improvements, manage payroll tax reporting and reconciliations, and expand expertise across payroll operations, using Workday Payroll and ADP SmartCompliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of payroll management experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience.
• Experience with Workday Payroll and ADP SmartCompliance.
• Knowledge of payroll tax reporting, compliance, and reconciliations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversee biweekly and semi-monthly payroll processing and transmissions.
• Manage relationships with ADP SmartCompliance and other payroll service providers.
• Review payroll reports, adjustments, tax filings, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance.
• Supervise payroll staff and approve payroll processing activities.
• Partner with Human Resources on employee payroll and benefits-related matters.
• Support audits, reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
