Job summary

Kitchen Food Company Limited in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, is seeking a Payroll Manager to own the full U.S. payroll cycle for our new food manufacturing site as it scales to ~300 employees.

You will ensure accurate, timely payroll processing, maintain hourly and salaried workforce payroll integrity, and drive compliance with federal, state, and local rules, while partnering with HR, Finance and operations. This role also serves as backup for Australian payroll and supports system implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
• 5+ years of end-to-end U.S. payroll experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations and compliance.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; Rippling preferred.
• Experience with hourly workforces, overtime rules, and time & attendance.
• Advanced Excel and payroll reconciliation skills.
• High accuracy, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end U.S. payroll cycle for site operations.
• Maintain payroll integrity for hourly and salaried staff.
• Ensure accurate time and attendance processing and schedules.
• Oversee garnishments, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulations.
• Support audits and payroll reporting for Finance.
• Collaborate with HR, site leadership, and vendors.
• Backup for Australian payroll and HRIS integration.
