Job summary

Abbott Park, IL on-site position for a Payroll Financial Operations Analyst within the CHR Corporate Human Resources division. You will work with the financial operations team to ensure accurate, timely funding, general ledger and reporting in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of payroll experience, knowledge of U.S. payroll laws, advanced Excel skills, and strong attention to detail and communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience in a large corporate environment.
• Knowledge of U.S. payroll laws and regulations (FLSA, IRS, state tax rules).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process general ledger balancing accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage and support vendor payments
• Receive and process audit and reporting request timely and accurately
• Process and manage stop payment requests, ensuring proper approvals, documentation, and system updates.
• Administer weekly benefit and tax funding, ensuring required amounts are calculated, funded, and recorded accurately.
