Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is recruiting a Payroll Coordinator to support the MEH Alliance on the Hinkley Point C project. The role is primarily site-based near Bridgwater, Somerset, with occasional home working on Fridays.

You will maintain payroll records, process forms, generate reports and assist with payroll queries to ensure accurate and timely pay for employees. This position offers a solid benefits package and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced administrative environment.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office apps, especially spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Experience in payroll administration or payroll support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update payroll trackers, ensuring accurate employee information.
• Collect, log and distribute payroll forms and related documentation.
• Produce payroll reports and assist with payroll metrics and reporting.
• Support payroll inductions and general administrative tasks.
• Respond to payroll queries and assist the wider payroll team.
