Job summary

Eide Bailly is seeking a Payroll Compliance Intern to join our team for January–April 2027. This hybrid role is based from our Walnut Creek office with travel to client sites.

You will review payroll data, analyze compliance, and assist with on-site testing under senior supervision. The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's degree (or recent graduate) in Finance, Business, Economics, Sales, or Communications, with strong data and spreadsheet skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or in progress required.
• Strong data/spreadsheet skills and attention to detail.
• Willing to travel 15–20% to client locations.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Review payroll compliance data and labor agreements.
• Analyze employer records for payroll compliance and accuracy.
• Assist on-site testing of payroll controls and processes.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person.
• Travel with senior staff to client sites for engagement work.
