Eide Bailly invites you to join as a Compliance Analyst Intern for January–April 2027 in a hybrid role based out of Walnut Creek. You’ll work with a team of professionals delivering payroll compliance audits, data analysis, and client services across multiple industries.

You should be pursuing or have a Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) with graduation in 2027 or 2028, and be comfortable traveling. Compensation ranges from $25 to $32 per hour, with overtime eligibility and benefits such as

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree with graduation dates in 2027 or 2028.
• Willingness to travel 15-20% for on-site audits.
• Strong data and spreadsheet skills; comfortable with analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review collective bargaining and trust agreements for local and international labor unions.
• Enter and analyze payroll-related data to assess compliance of employee benefits.
• Test processes and controls related to payroll and union agreements.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person for responsive service.
• Receive on-the-job training from senior associates and manage assignments.
• Travel with senior colleagues to employer locations for on-site testing and timely engagements.
• Work with clients across diverse industries with large employee bases and assets.
