Legacy Professionals LLP in the United States seeks a Payroll Compliance Auditor to assess employer compliance with wage, classification, and benefit rules under collective bargaining agreements. You will review payroll and financial records, coordinate with employers, and draft clear audit reports.

No CPA license required; training is provided and you will advance from Auditor to Senior Auditor with experience. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, data analytics, mathematics or a related field preferred.
• Prior audit experience is not required; training will be provided.

• Review collective bargaining agreements to understand wage rates, classifications, work rules, and benefit contribution requirements.
• Organize audit documentation, prepare workpapers, and coordinate audit appointments with employers.
• Examine payroll registers, time records, tax records, accounts payable, and supporting documentation.
• Learn and utilize AI-powered tools to extract, organize, and analyze large payroll/financial data volumes.
• Analyze employee classifications, hours worked, wages paid, and benefits to ensure compliance.
• Identify, investigate, and document discrepancies between reported information and records.
• Communicate with employers to obtain records, clarify questions, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare clear audit workpapers and final audit reports.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines with quality work.
